REJUVENATED Platinum Stars are convinced they have won the battle to stay out of the relegation zone in the Absa Premiership.

Under caretaker coaches Cavin Johnson and Alan Freese, Dikwena are unbeaten in three consecutive league matches, collecting seven out of a possible nine points.

Johnson and Freese started their campaign with a 1-0 win over Golden Arrows, played to a goalless draw with SuperSport United and got a 3-2 win over Black Leopards.

The club's dribbling wizard Joseph "Tight" Molangoane is confident they will add three more points, this time at the expense of Maritzburg United at Royal Bafokeng Stadium tomorrow night, starting at 7.30.

"We are excited that there is light at the end of the tunnel. We have been working hard and deserved to collect those points from the past three matches.

"Now that we are out of the relegation zone, we are going to intensify our challenge to finish the season well inside the top- eight bracket.

"It will be an uphill battle because all the clubs have redoubled their efforts for various reasons, some challenging for the league title.

"There are those who want to finish in the top- eight bracket like us, while the rest of the clubs want to avoid the relegation axe.

"Our message to our supporters is that we will continue making them happy tomorrow. United won't get a single point," said Molangoane.

Goalkeeper Jackson Mabokgwane, a product of the Transnet Football School of Excellence, is also upbeat about qualifying for the MTN8.

Dikwena supporters coordinator and media officer Aubrey Molobi said tickets for the game were already on sale. Stars have reduced ticket prices by 50%, meaning adults will pay R20 and juveniles R10.

Tickets can be bought at the following outlets: PH Network and Lucky's Pub in Phokeng, Tlhabane Foro Spar, Micky's Geo Restaurant in Rustenburg, Tommy's Inn in Kanana and at the stadium.
