Ramaala qualified for a unique fifth Olympic Games by clocking 2hrs:12 min:12secs at the Dubai International Marathon last weekend.

Ramaala is now the only South African athlete to qualify for five Olympic Games, an achievement he is proud of.

He finished 19th overall at this star-studded marathon in Dubai that was dominated by Ethiopians. Ramaala's time is well within the IAAF's A-qualifying time of 2:15 for the Olympics.

Ramaala is planning to go to the Boston Marathon in the US in April where he is hoping to finish the event under 2:10.
