RUGBY players Brian Shabangu, Jacques Engelbrecht, Bernardo Botha and Siyanda Grey have been recalled to represent the Emerging SA Sevens squad at the Commonwealth Games billed for India in October.
The quartet were members of the team that lost to Kenya in the final of the recent Safaricom Sevens in Nairobi.
Springbok Sevens coach Paul Treu has also roped in national Under-20 player Lubabalo Mthembu, who did exceptionally well at the IRB Junior World Championships in Argentina last month.
Newcomers in the provisional 32-member squad include Boom Prinsloo of the the Free State Cheetahs and the Bulls' Ikey Esterhuizen and Tom Seabela.
