POLICE in Lebowakgomo have arrested three men for allegedly beating and raping a woman who later died.
Captain Mamphaswa Seabi said the incident happened on Saturday at Bylsdrift village, Limpopo, where the men found the 21-year-old victim walking home.
"They allegedly dragged her into the bushes, assaulted and repeatedly raped her."
Seabi said the victim sustained serious injuries. She was taken to Zebediela Hospital before being transferred to Polokwane Hospital where she died.
