Captain Rulene Kuhn said Christopher Anderson, 24, was attacked and robbed at Batho location after he met a group of people in the city last week.
"The victim apparently met five men and two women and asked them about the clubs in the area.
Kuhn said as the group approached Batho they started attacking Anderson.
He was stabbed with a sharp object in the left thigh and robbed of his belongings, which included his cellphone, iPod, camera, bank cards and cash to the valued of R65700. - Sapa
