PARIS - The French government yesterday denied any interference in soccer affairs, a day after Fifa president Sepp Blatter, right, warned that the governing body could suspend the French Football Federation.
Blatter threatened to suspend the FFF if France's politicians keep meddling in soccer. If France is suspended, it will be banned from international tournaments and French clubs will be unable to take part in European competitions.
