After their monumental battle with the US, in which they came out tops on Saturday, the Black Stars are worthy of the praise the continent has showered on them.
"We have five days to rest, nurse injuries. Our medical staff have got a lot of work to do as we plan for our next quarterfinal game," Rajevac said.
"But for now the players are celebrating this great achievement. The whole world is watching these games. Ghana has the support of the world because it is the only African team still in the World Cup."
Among those who picked up injuries were Kevin-Prince Boateng, the scorer of the opening goal which paved the way to Ghana's historic 2-1 victory over the Americans.
Boateng has now joined Isaac Vorsah in the sickbay, but Rajevac is confident he'll have the German-born Ghana midfielder back for the quarterfinal epic on Friday.
"He (Boateng) is very much key to our World Cup plans and I know the medics will do their utmost to get him ready."
Boateng grabbed a fifth minute opener to hand Ghana a bright start in an evenly balanced match, which could have gone either way, a point Rajevac partly acknowledged.
"In truth, both teams deserved to win but in the end we had the strength to win. Victory counts and today Ghana are one of the top eight teams in the world," said Rajevac, through an interpreter.
" We've achieved some success before, but this is huge, overwhelming."
Rajevac, who learned the coaching ropes from among others, Bora Milutinovic, attributed Ghana's victory to their buoyancy and their fortitude, honed by the Africa Cup of Nations early this year.
Ghana face two-time world champions Uruguay at Soccer City on Friday.
