Travel bursary up for grabs

INSTITUTIONS of higher learning across the country have started submitting nominees for the Abe Bailey Travel Bursary.

The nominations will see 22 students, each representing a university of technology or university get a chance to travel to Britain for three weeks.

Selected by their dean of students, each university can submit up to three nominees and the trust's board of directors in Cape Town makes the final selection.

University of Zululand nominee Sibusisiwe Ndlovusaid: "What I love about Abe Bailey's life is that he used to bring leaders from all different walks of life to his place so they could find common ground together."
