Anglican Archbishop Thabo Makgoba said: "I know I am praying for the best team to win but I am vying all the way for Bafana Bafana. I hope they keep their heads down and don't kick the man but kick the ball all the way into the goal."lIFP president Mangosuthu Buthelezi: "On behalf of the Inkatha Freedom Party, I would like to wish the South African football team and their coach Carlos Parreira the best of luck as they embark on this historical and momentous 2010 World Cup journey."
