The movie, to be directed by Donovan Marsh, is produced by Curious Pictures with executive producer Tendeka Matatu of Ten10 Films.
The feature film will premiere in 2011, although in the meantime Mtshali will feature in a new Amstel commercial.
Muzi, of Bramley, Johannesburg, will play second fiddle to Mtshali.
He will also attend Actors Boot Camp in Los Angeles in the US, and also receive representation from casting agent Moonyeen Lee of MLA.
