CENTRAL Gauteng Golf Union is producing talented players who have progressed through its development programme and are now playing top amateur golf in South Africa.
Sipho Sithole, 20, and Muziwalo Nethunzwi, 21, are both prime examples, being chosen for Central Gauteng's team which played at Maccauvlei in Vereeniging earlier this month.
Sithole and Nethunzwi are members of Soweto Country Club and attend the Gary Player School for Champions in Woodmead, Johannesburg.
Sithole qualified for the SA Amateur Matchplay tournament in East London, while Nethunzwi qualified for the SA Amateur Strokeplay tournament in Western Cape early this year. - Sowetan reporter
