CWUSA spokesperson Tizozo Zulu of Woza eDurban fame, announced that after meetings with the Ethekwini municipality officials and the Department of Arts and Culture, they have managed to make sure that new talent gets exposure.

Zulu also said that they had secured places for as many as possible local artists to perform at public viewing areas around the province.

He said artists would be contacted and a final list of artists was expected to be complete by the end of this week.

Artists in the province will get an opportunity to perform in 10 public viewing areas around the province, of which three are located in the Durban city centre and the Beachfront.

The eThekwini municipality said the tender for the 2010 entertainment events was awarded to Black Pepper Entertainment.
