National Union of Mineworkers spokesperson Lesiba Seshoka told Sowetan yesterday that yet another worker had died at the mine.
"The worker died last week Thursday after being taken to hospital for reportedly suffering from TB. Our members don't have money. Even when they are sick they don't get medical help."
Seshoka said the family of the dead mineworker had been informed and also Aurora. "We are tired of talking to Aurora, who pretend to be listening while they are not."
About two weeks ago three workers died after they allegedly drank polluted water. But Aurora management refuted this figure, saying they only knew of one worker who had died of an Aids-related illness.
