Correctional Services said that “matters are under control” at Johannesburg’s Sun City Prison on Wed.
I WASN'T that shocked when Thami ka Plaatjie crossed over to the ANC.
He and Clarence Makwetu created unnecessary chaos in the PAC before they left with their disgruntled group. Ka Plaatjie couldn't find political hegemony outside the bigger political field with his Pan African Movement, so he thought the ANC tenderpreneur train would come to his rescue. Now he has abandoned his PAM.
Political careerism is so rife and seductive in today's politics that people are sacrificing political ideologies and beliefs to become mayors and councillors.
We Pan Africanists are not shaken by Ka Plaatjie' s cheap move. Maxwell Nemadzivhanani did it and where is he now ? Ka Plaatjie can go and gain a big belly in the ANC, but that party will not consider him for deployment in the government.
Good luck, Thami, you can still return home if the grass is not as green as you thought.
