IT IS official. Nonhle Thema and Bonang Matheba are sizzling hot. They cracked the FHM men's magazine's Top 100 Sexiest Women in the World for 2010.

Thema claimed 14th spot among a line-up of the most beautiful women in the world. In case anyone is in doubt, she is no stranger to honours and accolades.

She is one of the finest television presenters in South Africa and has rightly been the ruling queen of the covers of leading fashion and entertainment magazines since she burst into the limelight a few years ago.

She is also the woman who dethroned American R&B superstar Kelly Rowland to become the face of Dark & Lovely the world over.

Local men, who have been drooling over Matheba, will agree with her being on the list. The Live presenter on SABC1 is super hot.

Also on the list are Musa Sharon Chauke, Rosette Mogomotsi, Joelle Kayembe, Precious Makgaretsa and Mashadi Motsogi, among others.

More than 2million votes were received in this competition that was won by sought-after model and well-known surfer Roxy Louw, who walked away as FHM's Sexiest Woman in the World.

FHM began life in 1985 in the UK, when it was known as For Him, and was originally intended to be a fashion magazine. Since then, it has become much more international and more focused on the female body, which seems to be what has given it the market edge.

It is now published in many countries across the world, including Australia, China, India, Russia and the US. Its online presence means that it is available to an even wider global audience.
