This competition allows aspiring and emerging designers to compete with established industry icons.
The winner will walk away with R5000 in cash, jewellery from the Mark Gold Fresh Flowers Collection to the value of R25000 and a pair of Police sunglasses. The first runner-up will receive R3000 in cash and the second runner-up R2000.
The competition has discovered many designer gems. It provides a platform for established designers and fashionistas to showcase designs and is an opportunity to enjoy substantial media exposure and a chance to broadcast their brand.
According to Durban July fashion programme director Tiffany Prior the competition is open to anyone interested in furthering a career in fashion or who is simply eager to exhibit skills and design creativity.
Submit storyboards to ICE Models at 42 Lennox Road, Windermere, Durban, or to regional Vodacom offices or SAIL offices in Gauteng by noon on June 1.
