Not even heavy rain and thunder deterred hundreds of Lira fans from converging on the Emerald Casino and Resort in the Vaal on Saturday night.
The show had to be delayed as queues grew longer, with fans snatching up tickets like hot cakes before showtime.
The Sama-winning songbird did not disappoint after warming up the fans with Ngekendilile.
The Ngiyazifela star performed songs that are on her award winning DVD and the fans could not get enough.
After two hours of nonstop screaming and dancing, the humble singer from Daveyton closed the show but later came back to sign autographs and pose for pictures with fans.
Lerato Ratshefola, who was sitting in the front row, was still gasping for air after the show.
Samukelisiwe Thabethe said: "The show was short. I want more. I had so much fun the two hours just passed by."
Collen Makete said Lira was a bomb.
But loyal fan Moses Sekele said Lira needed to change the set.
"She is great but I have been to most of her shows, so she must juggle the routine around and not do it the same way every time," he said.
DJ Finzo rocked the fans after the show and some fans pleaded for him to stop playing so that they could go home.
