EACH week more people Join in the Voice Behind Bafana Bafana.

The Join in the Voice Behind Bafana Bafana campaign encourages South Africans to support the national team during the World Cup. The aim is to collect 10million SMSes.

The messages will appear in Avusa's six major newspapers: Sowetan, The Times, The Herald, Dispatch, Sunday World and Sunday Times.

UDM leader Bantu Holomisa said: "I join the rest of South Africa in wishing Bafana the best of luck for their 2010 World Cup campaign.

"If I may advise, the success of Bafana Bafana will depend on speed and control. Nine out of 10 times our squad wastes a lot of time and energy by playing football in their own half. By the time the backliners want to link with our strikers, they are already tightly marked."

Diski Dance choreographer Wendy Ramokgadi said: "I wish them all the best. I trust that our boys will make us proud."

Kwaito star Mandoza said: "All South Africans should go out and support Bafana."
