CHARGES against former National Intelligence Agency head Mulangi Mphego were withdrawn in the Randburg magistrate's court yesterday.
Mphego had been charged with defeating the ends of justice. He allegedly influenced drug trafficker Glen Agliotti to sign an affidavit that cleared former police commissioner Jackie Selebi of corruption allegations.
Magistrate Fatima Khan withdrew the charges after the state prosecutors asked for another postponement. - Dudu Dube
