Bad apples will not destroy Cope

WE ARE sick and tired of being fed a destructive and poisonous diatribe by a rudderless leadership.

We thought by leaving the ANC we would be spared the dirty power politics of people who are motivated by self-interest and greed.

Cope's youth movement's so-called leadership has brought the party into disrepute through its naïve and manipulative stance . They must not think that South Africans don' t know who is behind this ongoing mess.

It's a pity they've allowed themselves to be used as political pawns at the expense of the masses, who want an alternative to the ongoing political picnic of the Julius Malemas of our country.

We know the people who are bent on a destructive course to satisfy their lust for power. They did the same in the ANC and will continue to do so when Cope rejects them.

Their selfishness will never be forgotten by the downtrodden masses and history will note their nefarious intentions.

While this hullabaloo in the Cope leadership, especially its youth league, persists unabated, townships and rural folk wait patiently for political direction.

We know that building strong and vibrant branches in the townships is not your priority because middle-class voters livein the white suburbs. One day you will have to account to the masses for failing to give them a political home when they were crying out for one.

Cope is here to stay - with or without you. Phambili ne Cope phambili!
