AFRICA Fashion International will be casting models for Africa Fashion Week 2010.

Fashionistas can expect three days of fashion glamour and glitz from June 30 to July 3.

Casting will take place today from noon to 4pm at Shine Studios, corner of Smit and Henry streets, in Braamfontein, Johannesburg.

According to Africa Fashion Week founder Precious Moloi-Motsepe Africa Fashion International is looking for females and males to model designer clothes and accessories for the fashion event.

Models should belong to a modelling agency and be between the ages of 17 and 30.

Casting will be supervised by acclaimed creative director Deon Redman.

Africa Fashion Week 2010 gives African designers from across the continent and the diaspora an opportunity to display their African designs at this second annual Africa Fashion Week.

The event, which will be held in Sandton Convention Centre, will showcase 33 designer collections. There will also be a fashion seminar, AFI awards and the launch of the AFI Boutique.

The second AFI awards will take place on July 5. Highlighting industry excellence and outstanding African fashion, the awards are a platform aimed at helping take African fashion to the world.
