Thumbs up for SA talent

IT is always a pleasure to hang out with stars. So off we girls went to Turbine Hall in downtown Jozi to hang out with Kelly Rowland and some local stars who performed Rhythm of Africa United, the MTN theme song for the 2010 Fifa World Cup.

There were fabulous people in glorious outfits who could teach Camagwini and Thandiswa a thing or two about fashion - as well as snacks galore.

It was great to see Rowland's hot body in various outfits. Yes, we love her hair though we are not convinced it is all hers.

There, looking ravishing, was the hottest couple of any decade - Zam and Nkhensani Nkosi - who looked so good people were whispering she might be pregnant. Well, we hope so since they are a beautiful couple.

Khanyi Mbau arrived sans Theunis Crous in a stunning leather number that made us wish she had a bike. Shame, poor lass is still not married to Primrose's husband yet.

Despite being beaten up a few weeks ago, Koyo was there posing as if he were on the ramp. Following him like a tail was equally animated Amstel, who wore enough make-up for six faces.

It was a great evening with local artists going crazy over Rowland. Though we girls did not attend the MTN Samas last week, we saw enough local talent to last us until next year.

Looking fresh in sneakers was the ever-graceful Uyanda Mbuli, who seems to be getting younger by the day. We saw her chatting with the homosexuals and we girls were envious since gays make the best company. Wonder where her ever-present hubby was. We think he was probably resting after the hectic weekend at Sun City posing with Bheki Cele.

On Cele, I wonder which other country in the world can boast a funky national police commissioner who is sexy enough to be invited to hang out with the hottest music stars?

Enjoyed Da Les' performance. Yes, Esmail is still the sweetest despite being in his 40s and looking 19.

Lupi did his Michael Jackson look, while the Naked DJ was spotted looking as lovely as ever. Thanks MTN, Kelly and the gang, now give us more local talent!
