LONDON - Fulham said the first leg of their Europa League semifinal at Hamburg on Thursday will go ahead despite the cloud of volcanic ash that has closed airports in Europe.
Fulham said that it has "a contingency plan" to get their players to Germany in time for the match.
The west London club did not confirm whether the plan involved taking a ferry to mainland Europe or using the channel tunnel.
Uefa has yet to confirm whether Thursday's other semifinal between Atletico Madrid and Liverpool in Spain will go ahead. - Sapa-AP
