Mayweather feels he has blueprint to beat Mosely

URBANE pugilist "Pretty Boy" Floyd Mayweather Jnr says he does not think there is a fighter out there who has the gumption to beat him.

URBANE pugilist "Pretty Boy" Floyd Mayweather Jnr says he does not think there is a fighter out there who has the gumption to beat him.

The 33-year-old US fighter from Grand Rapids, Michigan, is the former undefeated WBC super featherweight, lightweight and light welterweight; IBF and IBO welterweight; WBC welterweight and junior middleweight titlist.

Mayweather, who is also widely known as "Money" in the fistic sport, is undefeated in 40 fights, with 25 stoppages.

The American takes on Shane "Sugar" Mosley for the WBA super welterweight title at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, on May 1.

The fighter many people love to hate is the bookies' bet to easily brush aside Mosley.

He has beaten great boxers such as a Diego Corrales, Jose Luis Castillo, Phillip Ndou, Arturo Gatti, Sharmba Mitchell, Zab Judah, Oscar de la Hoya and Ricky Hatton.

He told Fightnews.Com that: "There's a blueprint on Shane, he has five losses. Nobody has beaten me.

"The ultimate goal is to try build a fighter that can beat me.

"I think he's out of character. We know the soft-spoken Shane Mosley. Now he's 38 years old getting tattooed.

"We don't know how long Shane has been doing PED's (performance-enhancing drugs). All of these fighters have been cheating for years. People have been hurt by cheaters. I want to do the sport and I want to do it clean. I'm the face of boxing and am here to clean it up."

Mayweather's great skills make boxing look easy. Many are of the opinion that he can beat opponents with his eyes closed. He is a rare breed.

The free-talking American is under the tutelage of his uncle Roger "Black Mamba" Mayweather, who is a former WBC and IBO junior welterweight, and IBO and IBA welterweight champion.

Some fight fans, though, say his fights are boring, but Mayweather, who is known for shooting from the hip, retorted: "It's not my fault that I'm so much better than fighters that am facing. It's always so one-sided. They want to see me fight in a toe-to-toe battle. I'm just a smart and a very intelligent fighter."
