MISS SA Teen 2009 Chante Jantjies celebrated her 17th birthday with a playful, two-day- long, fun-filled weekend at Sun City.

With three of her best friends in attendance, at least 200 more fans were there to wish her well.

The birthday celebrations were also a charity drive at which the personable and pretty teen beauty queen urged her peers who came to the bash to bring non-perishable goods to distribute to the charity organisations she is supporting during her year of reign.

Joined by three of her best friends, the teens' adventurous weekend celebrations included quad biking, paragliding and jet skiing, events she described as liberating.

"I never thought I'd be able to paraglide and quad bike, but I did it. I feel I can do anything I put mind to," said the excited Jantjies.

R&B star RJ Benjamin wished her a splendid birthday and sang a few of his hits.
