ABIA Nale has been one of Kaizer Chiefs' shining stars this season.

The former Lamontville Golden Arrows man has also won the heart of club legend Nelson "Teenage" Dladla, who said he will shoulder much of the burden in the club's quest to win the league next season.

Nale took time out to chat to Sowetan.

Q: How old were you when you started developing an interest in sport?

A: I was 11 years old and I played with the likes of Johannes Segalo. My uncle, Zachariah Nale, was an inspiration as he used to play football, although it was at amateur level.

Q: Who did you support as a child and who were your heroes?

A: I grew up supporting Kaizer Chiefs and Doctor Khumalo was my inspiration.

Q: What car do you drive?

A: I do not have a car.

Q: If money was not an issue, which car would you be driving?

A: A BMW X5.

Q: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

A: It would be in Germany because I just like it.

Q: What is your favourite type of music?

A: Gospel music.

Q: If you could choose between Joyous Celebration and Soweto Gospel Choir, who would you choose?

A: It would be Joyous Celebration.

Q: If you could invite five famous people over for dinner, who would they be?

A: Nelson Mandela, Barack Obama, Kaizer Motaung, Doctor Khumalo and Rafael Nadal.

Q: If you could bring one famous person back from the dead, who would it be?

A: Gift Leremi.

Q: Who is your all-time favourite musician?

A: Rebecca Malope.

Q: What is your favourite song?

A: There are too many to name.

Q: Who is your favourite actor?

A: Samuel L Jackson.

Q: What is your favourite movie?

A: Coach Carter.

Q: Have you got a celebrity crush?

A: No, I don't.

Q: What do you do in your spare time?

A: I attend Boston City Campus where I'm studying project management.

Q: What is your favourite restaurant?

A: I'm not really into restaurants. I enjoy home-cooked meals and I usually cook myself.

Q: Any embarrassing moments in the field?

A: Not in particular, but any time an opponent dribbles me is embarrassing.
