PARK Village Auctions is again conducting Rand Water's keenly awaited annual fleet and asset auction.
The disposal takes place on site at the Rand Water central depot in Alberton, off Kliprivier Drive, south of Glenvista, on Tuesday at 10.30am.
Rand Water annually disposes of its surplus assets and the event is eagerly anticipated by buyers, says PVA spokesperson Dr Bertie Saunderson.
This year's inventory includes compressors, computers, furniture, tractors, bakkies, vehicles, trailers, compactors, a Case 580 Super K excavator, motorcycles, fire bricks, steam pipes, trench pumps, a bale loader, geysers, actuators, caterpillar pipe layers, lawnmowers, steel and gates/ramps.
"This year's auction will undoubtedly appeal to bidders from agricultural and automotive sectors alike given the nature of the inventory," Saunderson says.
"Small to medium businesses and private individuals will also find good bargains in furniture and various vehicles."
Viewing will take place on Monday from 9am to 4pm or on the morning of the sale from 9.30am.
