THE increasingly popular lifestyle and networking forum, Life@40 and Beyond, will move to Soweto on Sunday.

THE increasingly popular lifestyle and networking forum, Life@40 and Beyond, will move to Soweto on Sunday.

The forum brings people together to network, exchange ideas and empower one another in a social environment that also motivates personal growth.

This fun, nonprofit concept is open to people of 40 years and older.

This time around the function will be held at Kaya Lethu Restaurant in Orlando East from 3pm. Admission is free.

The keynote speaker is Ivor Hoff, the Gauteng government's chief director for sports. He will speak on a range of sports issues, including the Fifa World Cup.

The Soweto Jazz Quartet will entertain guests.

According to organiser Terry Mokoena people meet on the last Sunday of every month at various venues around Gauteng.

"Every session is full of cultural and social activities that paint a colourful landscape of entertainment, which confirms beyond a doubt that life indeed begins at 40. There's always a motivational speaker," Mokoena said.

"The highlight of the day will be when each one of us does our own foot-stomping and hip-swaying performances to the good old tunes of our time. Then all hell breaks loose." .
