AFRICAN Warriors will require much poise to overcome Black Leopards in the second leg of the playoffs at Charles Mopeli Stadium tomorrow.

Leopards are fan favourites to prevail after their 4-0 win over Warriors in Thohoyandou last week.

The Free Staters looked pathetic in the first leg and there is little to suggest they can overturn the deficit, even with home-ground advantage.

Leopards coach Vladislav Heric might opt for Robert Ng'ambi in the middle of the park, while Mongezi Bobe might be on the right wing and Peter Mponda at centre-back, with Khethokwakhe Masuku and Walter Ramulondi expected to lead the strike force.

The home side will need all the experience of Bulelani Matroos, Shaun Oliver, Justice Sithole, Keanan Thomas, Jermaine Christian and Abram "Wire" Nteo to get them through to the final of this promotion and relegation event. But on the evidence of the first leg that might not be enough against a determined Leopards side.

Kickoff is at 7.30pm.

Elsewhere tomorrow, Mpumalanga Black Aces travel to Chatsworth Stadium in Durban to engage Nathi Lions in another playoff match, also at 7.30pm.

Lions are tipped to go to the final. The Mlungisi Ngubane-led side drew 2-2 with Aces in the first leg in Witbank.

Lions have players like Shongwe Chalwe, Koffi Konan and Christopher Makhoba who are capable of mauling Aces.

AmaZayoni will pin their hopes on striker Mpho "Zico" Maleka, who scored twice against Lions in the first leg. The winners will meet in the two-legged final.
