ANC Y outh League leader Julius Malema yesterday refused to comment on reports that he visited murder accused "Jub Jub" in prison.
"No. No. No," he said when contacted yesterday.
According to media reports, "Juju" Malema visited the two men accused of driving the two cars that crashed in Soweto a week ago, killing four pupils and injuring three others.
Malema had been billed by his own organisation to visit the families of the crash victims a day after the accident - but failed to turn up.
Instead, the visit was undertaken by the league's national spokesperson Floyd Shivambu. No reason was given for Malema's failure to show up.
The Star newspaper reported that Malema visited singer Molemo "Jub Jub" Maarohanye and that they had eaten takeaways from Nando's.
The Justice Project South Africa has condemned the visit by Malema.
