The bakkie had been towing an extended trailer with a payload of Armco roadside barriers.
Netcare 911's Jeff Wicks said: "It is alleged that the driver of the vehicle lost control after the trailer began to snake violently, causing the bakkie to overturn and skid to a halt at the road shoulder beneath a pedestrian foot bridge." - Khulekani Mazibuko
