Revered top model to visit SA

TIMELESS beauty and world- famous super-model Iman will launch her cosmetics range in South Africa next week.

TIMELESS beauty and world- famous super-model Iman will launch her cosmetics range in South Africa next week.

She will be hosting two VIP breakfasts with media mogul Khanyi Dhlomo. They will share their knowledge of and expertise in business and beauty.

Dhlomo, who has been friends with Iman for a long time, said: "I am really looking forward to meeting Iman, but I will have to wear very high shoes as she is so tall.

"To me Iman represents soft power - she is powerful, influential and successful, while still maintaining softness, accessibility and embracing her femininity.

"I think that these qualities are hugely important. I think that is the power of the future, whether in business or politics - that natural, inclusive, consultative and democratic style that women have naturally, coupled with the glamour and beauty, be that internal or external aesthetic beauty.

"Iman is a wonderful example that we do not have to give up anything as women if we want to succeed.

"We can have it all. It is a matter of just allowing each aspect of our dynamic and very different lives to shine."

IMAN Cosmetics offers one of the largest selections of flawless finish make-up and state-of-the-art treatment products globally and is already available in South Africa.

The first breakfast will be in Cape Town on March 23 at the Table Bay Hotel. The Johannesburg event will be two days later at the Sandton Convention Centre.

International make-up artist Byron Barns will also be present and will focus on the latest beauty trends and give demonstrations.

Guest artists have been lined up for both gigs.
