Ntshumayelo relishes trophy parade

SUPERSPORT United will proudly parade their Absa Premiership trophy around Tshwane today - and for the third consecutive year.

While for David Kannemeyer, Brent Carelse and Tsietsi Mahoa it might be old hat, it will be Thandani Ntshumayelo's first time, and he is relishing it.

The 20-year-old made his debut this past season from the United academy and carved a niche in the exceptional United midfield in record time alongside the likes of Carelse, Jabu Maluleke and Hlompho Kekana.

"It was very difficult... But I had to reward the coach's faith in me with good performances," he said.

United will go to all Tshwane townships before presenting the trophy to mayor Gwen Ramokgopa.

"I plan to enjoy the parade today. I am very proud. Some people play football and retire without winning the league," Ntshumayelo said.
