Two people were killed and one critically injured when their car rolled on the N2 highway in Durban, paramedics said.
Netcare 911 spokesman Jeff Wicks said it was believed that the driver lost control of the vehicle yesterday morning while going around a bend near the Clare Road bridge in Palmiet.
"The car veered from the road and began spinning through the air, the crumpled remains finally coming to rest in the centre median," Wicks said.
The female and male passenger in the back seat died, he said.
Another man in the front passenger seat sustained massive head injuries and was rushed to the St Augustine's hospital in a critical condition. - Sapa
