I NOTED recently that people go for their learner's and driver's licences at the same time.

In Witbank, or should I say Emalahleni, black people never pass the first time around, but white people always pass the first time .

I know of black people who went for tests four times and failed each time. Does this mean blacks in Witbank are hopeless?

This could be happening all across the country, but with the majority of testing officers being white here it seems to be happening rather frequently.

Driving schools expect learner drivers to pay to pass.

The magistrate who said people who have proof that they were failed unfairly raised an important question. I hope it will not end in increasing learner's licences to two years.

I am not a racist but stating facts. I have a licence and am concerned about other people.
