The South African Under-17 soccer side's manager, Abram Ndawonde, said they were honoured to participate in this yearly youth tournament.
It will be held on the first weekend of next month, with hosts Namibia, Angola and Germany's Westphalia region and the rest of the teams taking part.
Majimbos are under the tutelage of Solly Luvhengo. Last year they were guided to bronze by Teboho Moloi.
In 2008 Majimbos clinched gold in the event under the mentorship of Serame Letsoaka, who has since been appointed Safa technical director.
"We are going back to Namibia to reclaim what is rightfully ours the gold medal. We have assembled a formidable squad that we hope will make South Africa proud," Luvhengo said yesterday.
"The tournament is helping us a great deal in terms of giving our youngsters exposure on the continent. They are all excited about the opportunity to play in such tournaments.
"We are using the event as part of our preparations for the 2011 African Under-17 Championships and 2011 World Under-17 Championships in Mexico.
"A big thank you to the South African Football Association and our sponsors, First National Bank, who are helping us to play a series of international games."
Safa's head of national teams, Stanley Tshabalala, said: "The association is impressed with Majimbos's preparations for the African Under-17 Championships.
"Coach Solly Luvhengo and his technical team are doing a great job. It's long overdue that Majimbos qualify for the World Under-17 Championships."
