OSBORNE "Big Daddy" Machimana and Bully "Bulldog" Muravha came face-to-face during their pre-fight medical at Nasrec yesterday.

Doctor Peter Chadderton, who examined them, declared them fit and healthy for their South African heavyweight title bout at Nasrec Arena on Sunday.

Machimana, who will bid for the sixth defence of his title, tipped the scale at 122kg, while Muravha registered 97,08kg.

Machimana's trainer Nick Durandt revealed that his fighter was 141kg before he started preparing for the fight, while Muravha's mentor George Khosi was coy about his charge's weight before they embarked on their mission to dethrone Machimana.

"I will be crowned on Sunday, come hell or high water," Muravha said.

His manager, Jason de Villiers, gave credit to both Machimana and Durandt.

"Osborne has been a great champion while Nick is the greatest in the world but it will be a different story on Sunday," he warned.

Khosi said Muravha sparred almost 100 rounds in one month with various opponents, including Isaac Chilemba, a former Durandt-trained fighter.

"We are going there to fetch the belt - period," he said.

Machimana said he hoped Khosi shared with Muravha the moments when he punished him when they were both trained by Norman Hlabane.

"Bully is still wet behind his ears. He won't do me nothing," said the champion who has held the title since 2006.

Durandt said Muravha will not see the belt leave the ring because he could be asleep.

This fight, the main bout on the Rainbow Promotion bill, will be beamed live by SuperSport from 4pm, depending on the outcome of the undercard fights.
