Fan parks galore around the country

Cape Town has spent R24million on upgrading the Grand Parade, its official fan park, which can take 28000 people.

Durban's main fan park on New Beach will take 25000 people. Two other public viewing areas are at the King Zwelithini Stadium, in Umlazi, and at a site in KwaMashu.

Polokwane's main fan park - big enough for 30 000 people - will be at the Polokwane Cricket Club.

Bloemfontein's fan fest will be at the Mangaung outdoor sports centre.

Nelspruit fans will gather at Bergvlam High School, 5km from the stadium.

St George's Park, 5km from the stadium, will be Port Elizabeth's fan park.

Rustenburg's Fifa fan fest will be at Fields College School, near the city centre.

Joburg will have two fan fest sites. The one at Elkah Stadium, in Soweto, will hold up to 40000 spectators. The other will be at Innes Free Park in Sandton.
