BAMUZA Sono could easily have ridden on his famous father's coat-tails but he did not, simply because he is his own man.

While he features for his father's club, Jomo Cosmos, Bamuza is making a name for himself.

The midfielder took time out to chat to Sowetan.

Q: How old were you when you started developing an interest in sports?

A: I was about five and I was playing with guys who were older than me. I think that helped me out a lot because it made me mature quicker.

Q: Who did you support as a child and who were your heroes?

A: I supported Orlando Pirates because my family supported them. But since I started playing professionally it's been Cosmos all the way. My heroes were Diego Maradona, Pele and Jomo Sono.

Q: What car do you drive?

A: I drive a Mercedes-Benz C230.

Q: If money was not an issue, which car would you be driving?

A: A Range Rover.

Q: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

A: South Africa. It's the best for me.

Q: If you could choose between DJ Fresh and Glen Lewis, who would it be?

A: DJ Fresh.

Q: If you could invite five famous people over for dinner, who would they be?

A: Nelson Mandela, Barack Obama, Sepp Blatter, Jomo Sono and Pele.

Q: If you could bring one famous person back from the dead, who would it be?

A: Michael Jackson, I liked him very much.

Q: Who is your all-time favourite musician?

A: Luther Vandross.

Q: What is your favourite song?

A: Superstar (Until you come back to me).

A: Matt Damon, Bruce Willis and Will Smith.

Q: What is your favourite movie?

A: Troy.

Q: Have you got a celebrity crush?

A: No I haven't.

Q: What do you know about global warming?

A: The fact that we are causing it with all the pollution and the cutting down of trees.

Q: What do you do in your spare time?

A: I prefer staying at home, listening to music and playing TV games. I also enjoy hanging out with my kids.

Q: What is your favourite restaurant?

A: The Butcher Grill in Sandton.

Q: Any embarrassing moments on or off the field?

A: I was about 12 years old and we were playing but I was very pressed and I took a leak on the touchline while the game was on.
