"It is understood that a truck collided with a cow and another truck tried to avoid the collision when the driver apparently lost control over his vehicle," ER24 spokesperson Werner Vermaak said in a statement.
He said the truck overturned several times and landed in a nearby veld.
Vermaak said two people died, one man suffered head injuries and four others various injuries. Six suffered minor injuries. All were taken to Hospital. - Sapa
