ELEVEN people were injured in two separate minibus taxi accidents in Cape Town yesterday.

ER24 spokesperson Tristan Wadeley said the first accident occurred on Jip De Jager Road in Welgemoed, where a Toyota Hi Ace taxi overturned.

"Four people were taken to Tygerberg Hospital for further treatment."

Another accident occurred at the intersection of Koeberg and Omuramba roads in Milnerton, where a taxi collided with a Citi Golf. Six injured people from the taxi and one from the Golf were taken to hospital. - Sapa
