Noah will leave you in stitches

AFTER a sellout success last year comedian Trevor Noah returns to The Lyric Theatre at Gold Reef City Casino with his acclaimed one-man show The Daywalker.

Noah, who is also a presenter, will perform live for two nights on March 5 and 6 at Gold Reef City.

Noah is fast making a name for himself in the industry with his one-man show.

He is following closely in the footsteps of comedians such as David Kau and others.

The Daywalker has been recorded in front of a live audience and the DVD has become a bestseller.

His comedy touches on a wide variety of topics, such as the story of his life as a mixed race child growing up in South Africa.

With this second stint at the Lyric Theatre he promises to be even more entertaining and funnier than in the past.

Having performed with the country's best comedians, Noah is undoubtedly one of South Africa's brightest comedy stars

In four years of performing he has gathered many accolades and several awards.

In this short period he has performed at all the major events on the local comedy calendar, including the Cape Town International Comedy Festival, Vodacom Funny Festival, Jozi Comedy Festival, 94.7 Heavyweight Comedy Jam and Blacks Only Comedy Show.

In 2008 he won the Best Breakthrough Comedy Act of the Year at the prestigious South African Comedy Awards.

He went on to be chosen as the only South African act to make the grade for the international audition of NBC's Last Comic Standing in Miami in the US.

Noah also hosted a show with Eugene Khoza on e.tv called The AXE Sweet Life.
