It comes in many funky colours, is affordable and is plastic like many of our celebs.
Many of the non-plastic ones graced the event on that warm evening in Sandton.
On arrival at the cosy venue we spotted a very calm-looking Sizwe Dhlomo.
Dhlomo spent the evening checking out the range of watches and looking puzzled at some celebs who were wearing two or three watches at the same time on the same wrist - turns out it is very trendy.
The eccentric Dineo Ranaka of YFM, who is everywhere these days, popped in and out of the party.
She looked funky and could not stop talking about her baby and the sexy man in her life - well done honey.
It was funny to overhear some celebs talking about how Thembi Seete won the best dressed award at the J&B Met, but because she had entered with some man's boyfriend - she now has to share the trip to Mauritius with him.
It turns out the guy is Alan Ford's soon-to-be husband and Ford has decided to buy himself a ticket to the island too.
Don't you trust Thembi with your man, Alan? Her name is not Khanyi Mbau.
Oh, it was sad to see Dhlomo leave alone in a silver Merc, but maybe he was going to fetch somebody. Please help us girls find a hot girl for Dhlomo.
Stoan and his Speedy were there in their bling swatches. We girls hoped we would get some free so we are never late again.
Oh! we heard Nonhle Thema was there too, but by then we had had enough plastic.

l It's a pity that we could not show you any pictures of the YFM twins or Papi Moloi, who posed naked for an awareness campaign.
They refused, saying that the pictures were shot only for the magazine. What losers!
l Zuraida Jardien and her hubby Josh have the most beautiful cappuccino baby, just like Pushi Dunn, Sean Watson and the kids Matthew Booth has with his wife Sonia.
Now we know most mixed-race kids are beautiful but we were just wondering what comedian Kagiso Lediga's mixed-race baby looks like - as he's not the prettiest in town!
