Leaders SuperSport United, who are on track for a third successive league title, will take a short trip for a date with Orlando Pirates at Orlando Stadium on Wednesday at 8pm.

The match also has hallmarks of thriller as both sides are desperate for a three points as fifth-placed Pirates will seek revenge after United, who want a to consolidate top spot on the log, humiliated Bucs with a 3-0 defeat in the first round in Tshwane.

On the same day but in Atteridgeville, second-placed Mamelodi Sundowns welcome Bloemfontein Celtic to Super Stadium, kick-off is at 7.30pm.

Swallows brand manager Siya Sangweni said they decided to move their 8pm match from Dobsonville Stadium to Johannesburg Stadium following an inspection of the Soweto venue by the league.

"The PSL requested us to get another venue because the pitch at the Dobsonville Stadium is not in good condition," said Sangweni yesterday.

Swallows right-back Vincent Kobola has warned Chiefs not to expect favours, saying the Dube Birds were eyeing a top eight finish this season.

Birds defeated Chiefs 2-1 in their first round clash. "It will be a tough one but we are equally under pressure to win the match so that we can finish in the top eight," said Kobola.

Chiefs will be minus No 1 goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune who was sent off in their last game, a 1-0 win at AmaZulu.

Santos, fourth in the standings, are away to Free State Stars aware that a defeat at Goble Park on Wednesday will eliminate them from the championship race.
