Correctional Services said that “matters are under control” at Johannesburg’s Sun City Prison on Wed.
I NORMALLY don't respond to issues raised in Sowetan but this time I feel duty bound to share my views. I was touched by Redi Direko's article in Friday's paper.
Well done, Redi, you have put things into perspective. It has made me understand that other countries are going through hell and I am lucky to be a South African. I also agree that SA can never be the worst place on Earth. We just have to work on HIV-Aids and crime here.
Secondly, credit goes to Sowetan's Frank Talk as well. I must confess, some of us are more complex than we sometimes get credit for. So I would rather focus on the mgozi about Khanyi Mbau than look at Haiti's devastating earthquake pictures.
