THE four senior Platinum Stars players who arrived late when the team resumed training on January 4 will be called into a disciplinary hearing on Tuesday.
The players are Godfrey Sapula, Oscar Ntwagae, Lefa Mogaila and Daniel Tshabalala.
They returned on January 11, a week after the rest of the team had been hard at work in Rustenburg.
The four further courted the team's wrath by failing to notify coach Steve Komphela or team manager Obed Legobate of their whereabouts during this time, and were sent away by Komphela when they arrived.
Legobate would not speculate on what course of action would be taken against the players, should they be found guilty.
"The purpose of this hearing is to establish the players' side of the story, so there is no speculation whatsoever on where we go from here," said Legobate.
"The team wants to give them a platform to explain where they had been at a time when their employer rightfully expected them to have been at work."
On his arrival at Dinaledi, Komphela first emphasised his intention to root out indiscipline, a task he said was imperative if the team's dismal showing was to be reversed.
