IT'S been dubbed the "mother of all parties" and the country's socialites are expected to attend.
Zizi Kodwa, the man who speaks for President Jacob Zuma, turned 40 this week and his birthday party is set for the popular Taboo club in Sandton tomorrow.
The VIP guest list includes government officials, ANC Youth League leaders, chairperson of the National Youth Development Agency Andile Lungisa and ANCYL president Julius Malema.
President Zuma's daughters Dudu and Gugu, an Isidingo actor, are also expected at the do.
Socialites and entertainers such as Khanyi Mbau, Kelly Khumalo, David Kau, DJ Sbu, Khwela Tebza, the Afrotainment stable including DJ Tira and the Big Nuzz crew, Mahoota, Oscar "Oskido" Mdlungwa and the Kalawa Jazmee crew are expected to grace the event.
Organisers say the jamboree will be attended by top model and former Miss South Africa Tansey Coetzee and former Muvhango actor Lerato Moloi, as well as popular gay socialites Somizi and 3sum.
The club is Malema's favourite hangout with various ANCYL parties having been hosted at Taboo last year.
Malema told Sowetan the league was proud of its products, and named Kodwa, Police Minister Nathi Mthethwa and his deputy Fikile Mbalula.
"If people want to know what kind of cadres are produced in the league, they must look at Zizi Kodwa," Malema said.
"We would like to wish him well on his birthday."
Invited guests were sent an SMS yesterday which read: "Join us as we kick off the New Year with the mother of all birthday parties."
