CLASSICAL music lovers can look forward to a concert that is sure to touch them.
Prepare for stunning good looks and sensational voices as rich as Irish cream.
The concert will be an evening so enjoyable you will want to take all the boys home with you, say the organisers of the Twelve Tenors, one of Europe's most outstanding ensembles.
"You have seen the legends from Italy," the organisers say. "You've seen the three world superstars perform together. You've seen the touring 10 from Australia.
"Now, for the first time in South Africa, let your hair down, sit back and heighten your senses of pleasure as you experience the Twelve Tenors."
The master tenors will perform and entertain audiences at the Johannesburg Theatre from Saturday February 16 and will continue for only two weeks, so if you don't have tickets yet get them immediately.
With all the favourite tenor arias you would expect, the thrilling Nessun Dorma included, of course, this hugely talented group of 12 of Europe's finest singers will perform some of the greatest music of the 20th century - opera, pop, musicals, jazz and swing.
There's even a selection of songs by The Beatles.
"With their wonderful harmonies, young, sexy looks and radiant smiles, the crowds go wild for the Twelve Tenors," the organisers say.
Accompanied on stage by an eight-piece band, the repertoire in South Africa will be dazzling. Among the songs are Danny Boy, You Raise me Up, Bring Him Home, That's Life, Mack the knife, Twist and Shout, Hey Jude and many, many other favourites.
Performances will start at in the Mandela Theatre of the Johannesburg Theatre on Tuesday and the limited season will unfortunately close on February 28.
Tickets are priced from R171 and are already available at Computicket.
