"The cyclist is fighting for his life in the Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital after he was struck by a car late yesterday [Sunday] afternoon," said Netcare 911's Jeff Wicks.
He said an unidentified car had veered into oncoming traffic and crashed into the cyclist.
The man was airlifted to a Durban hospital for emergency interventions, Wicks said. - Sapa
