FOR three years, love-struck Skwatta Kamp band member Nkosana Nkosi, aka Bozza, and Yfm's twin Hlelo Masina were the envy of Jozi.
They were a hot couple that most people aspired to emulate. Nkosi, 29, had done everything by the book - paying ilobolo, moving in with her and setting a wedding date. He was the man. But now the wedding is off. In November Masina moved out of their love nest in Bedfordview.
He is a broken man. Those close to the couple say there is little hope that they will reconcile.
The two seemed like the perfect match when the news of their engagement broke in 2006. They met in 2005 before Masina, 25, was famous. Masina and her twin sister are now household names, thanks to their exposure on Yfm, Channel O and the numerous gigs they host.
Sources confirmed that Nkosi is still madly in love with Masina. The two are said to have started drifting apart in October when they stopped attending events together. She also stopped wearing her engagement ring and told those in her inner circle it was over.
When Sowetan asked Masina if they had broken up, she burst into laughter and hung up.
Nkosi was not amused. "My relationship is none of anybody's business and I can't speak about it in the media."
